At the risk of sounding completely neurotic, this dishwasher actually makes me come unglued with its beeping. It beeps when I open it (hello, I opened it, is it possible that I don't know that I opened it???), it beeps every two or three minutes while it's open (gone are the days of air drying the dishes and how could a person possibly not know that the dishwasher is open when it's laid out in the middle of the kitchen???) and it beeps when I close it (again, I'm the one operating the open/close of the dishwasher so I do not need a high pitched, completely annoying beep to let me know it's closed)! We originally bought a standard size dishwasher to replace our 15-year old one. When the guy tried to install it we were dismayed to see that it was a half inch too tall for our counter. A frustrating search for something that would fit led us to discover that the few available ADA-compliant units have a smaller height and width requirement. At that point, and even now, we're just glad to have one that didn't require us to... Read more |
