I purchased the dishwasher on Sunday via the internet for store pickup and it was at the store bright and early Wednesday morning. It took my husband a little over 2 hours to install, but I don't think it was difficult as he had to take a break for dinner and a Lowe's run to get some needed parts. I had read reviews on this machine, that it does not come with all the pieces you need for installation. We found such was indeed the case. It's so quiet, it's hard to tell it's running (except for the little light) The interior is high quality and nicely arranged. We have a large family and this meets our needs just fine.Mostly, the dishes are really clean. I thought the basket was going to be a little chore to clean but I only need to do so every couple of months. The downside is only that it is sometimes a little reluctant to close completely and I have to push on it slightly more than usual. I don't know why this happens. 0 of 1 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Kitchenaid KUDE40FXSS Superba Series EQ Dishwasher Diswhashwer first few times I used it was very quiet. We redid our kitchen and it now opens to family room so quietness was important. The top rack when loaded with glasses, hangs down a bit. Glasses tend to fall forward. I can live with this. You just have to open slowly, and it's not so bad, just have to keep tall glasses towards the front. Installed just over a month ago, used it 5 or 6 times. It's leaking!!!! My plumber checked it out, and he said it's the dishwasher not the connections. Called Kitchenaid Customer service. VERY FRUSTRATING!!. I gave up and called appliance company where I purchased it. RENO's said they'll take care of it. They're sending someone out in next couple of days. At least they have good customer service. |
